Postpartum is hard work. You deserve self-care.

FAQ

You can start wearing it anytime after your delivery (with your gynae's approval if you have special medical conditions). Feel free to include the binder in your hospital bag.

Ensure a snug but not overly tight fit, and maintain good posture while wearing the binder for added comfort and support.

It is recommended to wear the binder for a minimum of 6-10 hours daily, especially during the first three months postpartum for the best effect.

Hand wash with cold water. Lay flat or line dry away from direct sunlight. If different washing and drying arrangements are used, this may impact the binder’s effectiveness.

You can wash it every 2-3 days, depending on how long you wear it each day. If you have sensitive skin, it's advisable to wash it more frequently.

Lovemère binder is 100% made of cotton and usually poses no concerns. However, if you start to sense itching and notice redness on the skin, please remove it and allow it to air out. You may need to wash your binder or reduce the tightness in your binding.

Consider wearing a cooling or nursing top underneath the binder and monitor the situation. Contact hello@lovemere.com if you need further assistance.

You may choose to start from the bottom and move upward to minimise downward pressure on the uterus, c-section scar, and pelvic floor structures.
